Three Charged with Possession of Stolen Property – Regina Police Service

Three individuals, a woman and two men, face multiple charges in connection with a series of incidents, primarily of theft and possession of stolen property.

On Saturday, January 8, 2022, police located a stolen gray Acura that they had been trying to recover for months. The vehicle was stolen from Academy Park Road on November 25-26, 2021. Police spotted the Acura, parked in the 800 block of Garnet Street, bearing a different license plate, later confirmed to be stolen. The driver and a front passenger (male) got out of the vehicle and entered a house; the police were able to arrest the two without incident. Moments later, they also arrested two male passengers in the back seat of the stolen vehicle. There was a large amount of goods in the vehicle; some of them appeared to be brand new. Due to other ongoing investigations, officers were able to determine that the vehicle had been used in at least four other criminal incidents (although there is no evidence to charge those detained with the four crimes). At the end of the investigation, one of the male passengers was released without charge and the other three were charged.
