Emma Hernan | Netflix

Emma Hernan is the new real estate agent of “Selling Sunset”

Hernan joins the cast of Sunset Sale in season 4 with another new agent, Vanessa Villela. “Sunset Sale fans, those Oppenheim sofas are a bit more crowded in season 4, ”Netflix tweeted to introduce the new cast. “Vanessa Villela, a Mexican-American novela star turned real estate agent, and Emma Hernan, an entrepreneur who has an interesting history with women, have joined the cast.”

Villela may seem familiar to some of her days as a soap opera actress on shows like Romantic obsession and A nuevo amor. Meanwhile, Hernan has his hands in several other businesses.

As Sunset Sale Star Mary Fitzgerald revealed to Showbiz Cheat Sheet in November 2021 that Hernan has been with the Oppenheim group for a few years. “[Hernan and I] have been friends for probably four or five years, ”Fitzgerald shares. “She worked for the Oppenheim group before appearing on the show.”

According to Nylon, Hernan has been in real estate for three years. “I was always looking for real estate with Jason [Oppenheim] and Brett [Oppenheim] every weekend and they were like, ‘You have to get your license. You get knowledge like a sponge, ”she says of her early days in the business. Now she’s a cast member on Sunset Sale, too much.

“Selling Sunset” Star Has Stock Market Experience

As Hernan teases Sunset Sale season 4, she’s been investing in stocks since she was a teenager. [I babysat for a man who] … Was on the stock market, ”Hernan told Nylon. “When I would put the kids to nap, instead of watching TV, I would watch all of those stocks that he was investing in. “

Hernan took the money she was making babysitting and started investing in stocks and healthcare. Eventually, she earned enough to start investing in other businesses, like startups.

Emma Leigh & Co. is Emma Hernan’s empanadas company

Aside from real estate and investing, Hernan also owns Emma Leigh & Co., a food brand. “My grandfather, Gerry McAdams, founded Yankee Trader Seafood in 1994 in Massachusetts and today it is a third-generation family business,” Hernan writes on his company website. “Now I have the chance to don my own chef’s hat and chef’s apron to promote Emma Leigh Brands, made right here in the United States! “

Hernan partners with Beyond Meat to create empanadas of different flavors, which appear multiple times in Sunset Sale Season 4. “I have a 100% female-owned business, so it was important for me to present it as well,” Hernan told Nylon. “I want to inspire the young girls to go out there and work as hard as they can and they can go and do whatever I have and more.”
