Pearl Thusi goes into the alcohol business – “I tasted this gin and knew it was special”

The businesswoman now owns a stake in the premium gin brand Black Rose.

It’s a business that will never run out of customers and celebrities know it.

They have added their names and reputation to alcohol brands across the country and abroad, from gin to champagne.

Pearl Thusi is the latest star to enter the alcohol industry.

The actress, TV personality and entrepreneur revealed on social media that she has acquired equity in premium gin brand, Black Rose.

The brand was launched in February 2018.

Black Rose is distilled and produced in South Africa.

In the alcohol business, the Queen Sono star joins such celebrities as her best friend DJ Zinhle who announced ownership of the Boulevard bubble brand last year; Cassper Nyovest which will launch an alcoholic drink in November of this year; Bonang Matheba who launched his MCC brand, House of BNG in 2019; Boity Thulo who launched BT Signature earlier this year; and J-Something, Khanyi Mbau and Kelly Khumalo in the gin industry.

“From the moment I tasted Black Rose gin, I knew it was special – that it wasn’t just the name,” Pearl wrote on Instagram.

The 33-year-old says she is thrilled to see where her new business is taking her.

“As a businesswoman and artist, this is an important milestone that I look forward to celebrating with you across the country and I also look forward to seeing this business grow more and more,” he said. she adds.
