Emma Raducanu heads to Wimbledon this month 327 places higher in the world rankings and millions of pounds higher than this time last year when she made her SW19 debut.
The British No.1 was relatively unknown when she made headlines on her main draw debut at Wimbledon last summer, reaching the fourth round before retiring with breathing difficulties.
Fast forward a few months and she had completed the fairy tale of all fairy tales by becoming the first qualifier to win a Grand Slam by triumphing at the US Open, without dropping a set throughout the tournament.
Raducanu is now back at home as world No. 11, and despite injury troubles in recent weeks, British tennis fans are still hopeful that she can deliver the goods and reach the final stages of the tournament.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Raducanu is worth around $5m (£4.07m).
Considering last year she was taking her A-level exams, it was quite a lifestyle change for the British teenager.
Following his impressive rise on the pitch, Raducanu has had no shortage of companies looking to secure endorsement deals. She is currently sponsored by Nike, while her racquets are sponsored by Wilson. Outside of tennis, Raducanu is a brand ambassador for Dior and Tiffany & Co., as well as British Airways, Vodafone, Evian and more recently Porsche.

Emma Raducanu career earnings
To date, according to the WTA, Raducanu has earned $3.29m (£2.68m) in career earnings.
Much of that is down to her triumph at the US Open where she pocketed $2.5m (£1.8m) after beating Leylah Fernandez in the final.
Speaking after his victory in New York, Raducanu revealed that his award will help him to continue participating in the WTA tour.
“I’ll leave that to my parents. They can take that for me. I haven’t gone shopping yet,” she said. “I know tennis is a hugely expensive sport, so it will probably go that way.”
In 2022, her first full season on the WTA Tour, she has won $445,200 (£362,500) in prize money so far.
