10 NEXT Venture Summit finalists selected


The 10 finalists who will have the chance to present their company at the 2022 NEXT Venture Summit September 22 Haven was advertised with a majority from upstate.

Narrowed down from a pool of 30 semi-finalists representing some of North and South Carolina’s best and brightest startups, finalists will pitch their businesses to more than 30 venture capitalists, with the winner getting a spot coveted at Atlanta Company in October.

The 10 finalists are:

  • serious LLC — This Greenville company is a digital payment platform that allows the rapid transfer of deposits in real estate transactions. The company aims to expand its services to include all types of transactions in the real estate industry.
  • Ecobot — This Asheville, NC company uses a workflow-based mobile/cloud platform to help architecture, engineering, and construction professionals create more resilient projects.
  • Girlology — This Greenville company has developed a digital health platform that provides level-by-level support to help girls feel confident and informed about their changing bodies and minds.
  • Security Hook Inc. — This Greenville company offers humorous training experiences to teach non-technical users how to recognize cybersecurity threats and attacks.
  • Lucid Drone Technologies Inc. — This Charlotte company builds robots that perform labor-intensive tasks, starting with drones capable of cleaning buildings.
  • momtech inc. — This Charlotte company makes products that solve problems for moms and babies by mimicking the natural biomechanics of breastfeeding.
  • Omedym — This Liberty-based company provides a digital platform for business-to-business transactions by providing buyers and sellers with digital guided product experiences.
  • ProAxion Inc. — This Cary, NC company provides cloud-based predictive maintenance analytics to companies using manufacturing machinery. The technology combines vibration analysis and temperature monitoring to provide early warning of potential maintenance issues.
  • ScopeStack — This Greenville company has developed a software platform that automates part of the sales process for IT companies.
  • TestedHQ — This Mauldin company is a product development research firm that provides consumer product companies with real-time end-user feedback using remote visits, artificial intelligence and data algorithms.
